MWA Telescope
Description
This workflows queries the MWA data source and creates a sprectrogram for the selected time range. NOTE: This workflow can generate a lot of data (more than 10 GB). Especially, when you try to query a time range of several hours.
Parameters
General
The follwoing parameters are mandatory
- start_time str:
YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sUTC ISO start date of the search window. If you are unsure select2022-09-30T02:27:00.0. - end_time str:
YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sUTC ISO end date of the search window. To get a result quickly, use2022-09-30T02:28:00.0.
The following parameters are not used.
- RA (float), DEC (float): right ascenscion and declination have no meaning for STIX obervations
- source_name str: Ignored and always set to "Sun"
Query parameters
There is not much to choose here. The default values are a good starting point. However, if you want a high-resolution spectrogram you should use a 4 s time resolution and a 120 MHz frequency resolution. This will increase the processing time significantly and will result in a data size of about 10 GB.
Output
After the workflow is finished you'll see the spectrogram of the defined time range with the resolution selected as query parameters. You can now download the data product as image.
